("Memphis, Tennessee" by Chuck Berry, 1959)
It was on THIS episode of the Mike Douglas (Feb. 16, 1972) show that John Lennon
made his oft-quoted remark: "If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might
call it Chuck Berry." Here Master and Pupil make beautiful music together, while Yoko
Ono stands nearby smacking a drum & issuing vocalizations that I've seen variously
described as "wailing," "yowling," and "ululating," which means "to utter howling sounds,
as in shrill, wordless lamentation; wail." But she doesn't detract (much) from the sublime
Summit Meeting taking place on her right.
